Security Package Review

What is a C3PAO and why does it matter?

A C3PAO (Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization) is authorized by The Cyber AB to conduct official CMMC assessments. Only assessments performed by a C3PAO result in certification recognized by the Department of Defense. Lunarline achieved authorized C3PAO status in May 2025 and is listed on the official Cyber AB Marketplace.

How long does the CMMC assessment process take?

Our standard CMMC Level 2 assessment follows an eight-week cycle from initial engagement to final certification upload. This includes a 4–6 week security package review, a 1–5 day on-site assessment, a 10-business-day re-evaluation window, and final QA before eMASS upload.

What if my organization is not ready for assessment?

That is why we built a hard Go/No-Go gate into our process. We evaluate your security package and provide a clear readiness determination. If gaps are identified, we notify you immediately so your team or advisor can remediate and reset the timeline before formal testing begins.
